Use Mentimeter to engage with an audience in real-time. This might be to encourage feedback, in class sessions or at at events, or in any situation where you want to to pose questions to find out what a target group thinks.
Mentimeter provides many different question types to interact with your participants, including multiple-choice and free text. Responses can be presented in a number of different formats, including graphically or by word cloud.
To get started go to http://www.mentimeter.com and set up an account. Question creation is fairly simple. Each set of questions is allocated a unique code. Students use //govote.at to give their answers, identifying the set of questions from the unique code you give them.
Teacher uses Mentimeter to display responses in class. Mentimeter video channel here.
